  The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, near all the major attractions but the street was pretty quiet. We love the cheerful backyard garden where the guests have breakfast. Another great thing was that the hotel allows the guests to store their luggage. We left our luggage for four days while we went to Santorini without any cha... vad folk säger » rges.   A lifetime experience in a blue and yellow (and not red like in some five-star hotels) surroundings. You have the parts of some ancient pillarsand the Zeus Temple you can see from your window.   EVERYTHING!! We stayed in the Belafonte Loft with our 16 month old son while in Athens and it was just perfect. The location is tough to beat. It is right in Plaka and only about a 5-10 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. He was almost always there for help, advice, or just to chat. He nearly always had f - We stayed in the Loft Suite and absolutely loved it! John is a good host, very helpful and easy going! The view from the Loft Suite terrace (with hammock) is amazing; you can see the Akropolis from your chair! The house has a great design, is very clean and beds are comfortable; we felt at home immediately. In the small kitchen coffee, tea and jams are provided. Alice Inn is just a few steps from the Plaka and plateia Syntagma (metro). So; great location, great rooms, beautiful city!

  This is one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in. The staff were outstanding. Very helpful with suggestions particularly for restaurants in the area and catching the metro/ferries etc. The room was large and very comfortable with a mini kitchen. It is well located in the Plaka district and easy walk to Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, - The hotel is charming, beautiful, clean with a staff that is so helpful and welcoming. They provide champagne and chocolates upon arrival. Additionally, they helped us with our boarding passes. They are right in the Plaka district within walking distance to many of the attractions. Loved it. And, I purposely left a pair of sneakers there and when I returned home there was an e mail letting me know that I had left them....and they wanted to know what I wanted them to do with them.   The hotel is situated in an old part of Athens called the Plaka. It is right by the Accropolis and Hadrians Gate. Very central within walking distance to the center of town. 5 minutes from the Metro. There are shops and restaurants close by and an excellent old town square.   This is a hotel for the no-nonsense traveler that wants to spend his time visiting the wonders of Athens. Location is one of the best in Athens for visiting everything Staff is very nice and helpful, 24h/day.
