You cannot be the location, pretty much everything is within walking distance or the metro is right behind the hotel. Access to interesting locations, accomodating staff and a great complimentary breakfast on the eighth floor roof top was the best.   This is a hotel for the no-nonsense traveler that wants to spend his time visiting the wonders of Athens. Location is one of the best in Athens for visiting everything Staff is very nice and helpful, 24h/day. They even help to store our luggage even when we return from the islands and we had a day full left before the return flight in the evening... vad folk säger » . The facilities are older but you can see the stuff does the best to keep it clean. Breakfast was good plentiful. We had a nice balcony to the typica - It is a really nice place for travellers ,the persons there are really quite nice and high english abilities, they will give you a lot of helps in all you want,own terriece is really cool made you feeling like in your own home. Mini eleventor is quite qute.which could give you more fine.

  I needed a late night stopover so chose the cheapest hotel I could find, not really expecting much, just a place to crash for one night. It was a delight to find such a genuine, friendly, helpful place. It had a lift, the room was quite large, big glass doors open onto the balcony, Wi fi, small but perfectly adequate shower, It's right next - First of all, I would like to comment on all negative comments of some friends earlier about this hotel, I had not read those comments while booking this hotel but on my way to hotel I read them all and was very skeptical whether how would it be?? But honestly I found every thing Excellent.   Location was great for exploring Plaka, and all Athens monuments. It was also quiet. Our room on 3rd floor got Wifi signal, but the Wifi was only supposed to be in common areas. Big plus. Price was good. The first night we arrived late and were given a twin room. We asked if we could change the next morning to a double room, and they moved us stra... vad folk säger » ight away. Check out at 12 was great. - It was a nice hotel, no luxury but ok for staying a couple of days in Athens. The best thing about it, is the location, it was close to every attraction in Athens, just walking distance to Parthenon.

  Great location to explore Athens infamous Acropolis and various archaeological sites. We have stayed in a nice studio that comes with nice basic amenities, comfy beds, clean showers, fridge and a well functional A/C that keeps you cool from the heat in summer. Breakfast is served downstairs of the studio and a nice bar is few steps away. Everythin... vad folk säger » g that you must see and do in Athens are within walking distance or a short tram/tube ride from this studio. - Everything was excellent. The balconies put you as close as you can get to the view. George could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to show us around town and make sure we had evetything we needed. He even escorted us to out tour and made sure our boat would wait for us! The fresh white walls of the bedrooms in Hotel Thireas mirror the crisp white structures of Santorini. Clean, beautiful and welcoming.

  The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. A big plus was the super-friendly restaurant right across the street, where I could get a half carafe of wine to take to the h... vad folk säger » otel's roof patio and have a drink while looking out at the acropolis. - The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

  The hotel is located in a very quiet area, on top of a little hill, just four blocks from the Sygrou-Fix metro station and the stop of tramway going both to the city centre and the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace, although small, has a wonderful view on the Acropolis and Lycabettus. Breakfast and drinks are serve... vad folk säger » d there. WiFi is free and works well both in the rooms and common areas. Breakfast is good and besides standard food includes also fresh season fruit - The staff were extremely helpful! We required a crib for our baby & we arrived fairly late in the evening, but they made sure to have the baby's cot ready in just 30 minutes. They were very helpful in calling for a cab when we required one as well as helping find restaurants near by. The breakfast was wonderful & the woman who serves it was very nice. The view of the Acropolis from the dining deck was absolutely amazing & really made the hotel worth every penny!
