  Everything was great! After we booked Lambros, the owner sent us a friendly email asking article details and arranged to meet us at the ferry. From there it was a short walk to villa, which is about a 2 min walk from the beach and in a beautiful setting with lots of vines and flowers. Every morning we would be greeted by him and or his sister and made to feel so welcome an - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mata. This family-run place is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms all have private balconies, but there are also communal spaces which make it easy to meet other travellers. The garden setting is gorgeous and really peaceful. Many people hit up Ios to party, but we had a very relaxing time staying at Villa Mata. The little outdoor kitchen is handy for cooking up some food. Also the staff were really helpful when we were planning our onward leg.

  We loved Petra Holiday Hotel! We especially loved the location and the "village" type of accomodations and their simplicity. After traveling for work and staying in tons of hotels, I was ready for a simplier way of life and accomodations. You have your very own "casita".   The view is incredible. Good walking distance to the main town and mypolotas beach. Great hospitality. Nick went out of his way to find us at the beach on our last day to let us know our ferry had been cancelled.   Friendliness of Olga and staff, lovely view from porch, the pool and bar area (too cool to swim but beautiful!). Olga was very helpful when my husband hurt his ankle. She picked us up at ferry, handled all luggage, and drove us back to port. - Olga hotel must be the cleanest hotel I ever visited. The staff were talkative and very helpful.   The location is fantastic, the Nice Beach outside the hotel, the friendly and sweet sisters, that run the hotel. They are so friendly and helpsome, and the little dog Bella is so cute. We liked staying at the port instead of Chora, because Chora is party zone in the nights and evenings. The Island Ios is great, beautifull and great to see on an AT... vad folk säger » V. The hotel room got what we needed and we would like to stay there again - and visit the two sweet Ladies again! - The place is right on the beach, so that is very good. Rent a car and tour the island! Good food at the harbour (Susanna's)!

  An amazing place with perfect view and unbelievable friendly housekeepers! The whole family is very nice and helpful and they were always there to answer all our questions:) Only 100 metres to a really nice beach and 10 minutes to the centre and a supermarket. - It was amazing to stay there for a week.
