  Everything was great! After we booked Lambros, the owner sent us a friendly email asking article details and arranged to meet us at the ferry. From there it was a short walk to villa, which is about a 2 min walk from the beach and in a beautiful setting with lots of vines and flowers. Every morning we would be greeted by him and or his sister and made to feel so welcome an - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mata. This family-run place is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms all have private balconies, but there are also communal spaces which make it easy to meet other travellers. The garden setting is gorgeous and really peaceful. Many people hit up Ios to party, but we had a very relaxing time staying at Villa Mata. The little outdoor kitchen is handy for cooking up some food. Also the staff were really helpful when we were planning our onward leg.

  Modest but very cozy rooms next to a quiet, nice beach. Location perfect (10-15 minute walk up to the city, bars and nightlife). The owner Katerina is a sweetheart! - Accomodation was fine in a great location just a stones throw from a lovely beach. Thank you Maria and staff we may see you next year.

  We loved Petra Holiday Hotel! We especially loved the location and the "village" type of accomodations and their simplicity. Nick went out of his way to find us at the beach on our last day to let us know our ferry had been cancelled.   Elias is a wonderful host. He picked us up from port and drove us to hotel. Hotel is very clean, and has all basic necessities. It is located slightly outside Chora so it's nice and quiet, but everything is very close walking distance. After we first arrived Elias saw us walking to the beach as he was driving by to run errands, and stopped to pick... vad folk säger » us up and drive us to beach! He lives above hotel, and is available at all times if you have any problems or questions. - Excellent facilities; traditional Cycladic rooms. The owners are very friendly and make you feel comfortable from the first moment. I recommend Athena Rooms to anyone who is looking for convenient, astonishing clean and quiet but not isolated place to stay. Excellent value for money!

  We stayed just one night between ferries and were very positively impressed by the standards of the rooms, the most convenient location and the warmth and friendliness of the welcome. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotless and well equipped. The breakfast was truly excellent, served with style, abundant and varied. Since the very beginning we were very happy with the hospitality of the host and the tranquility of the place that is just a few minutes away from the port. The breakfast was, honestly, the best that we ever had... everything was either homemade or locally produced and of course very fresh and delicious.

  Friendliness of Olga and staff, lovely view from porch, the pool and bar area (too cool to swim but beautiful!). Olga was very helpful when my husband hurt his ankle. She picked us up at ferry, handled all luggage, and drove us back to port. - Olga hotel must be the cleanest hotel I ever visited. The staff were talkative and very helpful.   Helena Hotel is a cozy family hotel located a few steps from the beach. Rooms are simply furnished, all beautifully clean and smell nice. Family was very friendly and helpful.   The location is fantastic, the Nice Beach outside the hotel, the friendly and sweet sisters, that run the hotel. They are so friendly and helpsome, and the little dog Bella is so cute. We liked staying at the port instead of Chora, because Chora is party zone in the nights and evenings. The Island Ios is great, beautifull and great to see on an AT... vad folk säger » V.
