  The location was really good close to other hotels and shopping area by car or bus. The staff are well spoken and very nice. The design of the hotel is brilliant :) The beach was clean and nice, its a pebbles beach not sandy though.   The rooms are very clean and the Hotel is very well situated (only 5 minutes walk from all the restaurants and bar).   The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The rooms were clean. Compared to other hotels down in town Hillside is also a much more quite location to stay. Hillside is located about 12-16min walk from town. I am not writing this as a negative as our group was more then happy to save the money we did and just walk. Although the we arrived at night 2:00 PM, in airport we were meted by Mike, hotel owner and taken to a hotel.   The rooms were nice and sitting on the balcony was great, the sea is just a few steps in front. The beach is sandy (it gets really hot). You can hardly find any hotel closer to the sea, I think. The staff was friendly and gave good advice. Some bars (full of young British tourists) are just a 2min walk away.   We found ourselves in Rhodes for business so we wanted something outside town. Lyristis was ideal, as we read nice comments and it was cheap as it was out of season. Perfect room, as needed with sat Tv, safebox, big balcony for having breakfast and dinner out. There is free wi-fi, nice pool, air-conditioning, minimarket on the spot, small kitchen spaces (so you can make breakfast easily). The localization of the hotel is perfect: it is 5 minutes' walk from the beach and restaurants/shops but at the same time far enough from the noise coming from many night clubs.
