  The rooms were nice and sitting on the balcony was great, the sea is just a few steps in front. The beach is sandy (it gets really hot). You can hardly find any hotel closer to the sea, I think. The staff was friendly and gave good advice. Some bars (full of young British tourists) are just a 2min walk away.   We found ourselves in Rhodes for business so we wanted something outside town. Lyristis was ideal, as we read nice comments and it was cheap as it was out of season. Perfect room, as needed with sat Tv, safebox, big balcony for having breakfast and dinner out.
