  Convenient location near train station, an easy walk even with bags. But we had a car and there was also covered parking for €10 (reservation needed as they have only a few spots). Internet required login to a lan but was surprisingly good! Very friendly staff!   Loved the location of the hotel which is so close to the DOM Cathedral, the Rhine River (which extends to 4 countries) the city center with shops, pick up point for city tour and Cologne's tourist center. Restaurants abound in its vicinity. Hotel room was enormous ( we got upgraded), clean but styled in the 80's. For those with heavy luggage, there is one flight of stairs to take you - The room was as advertised, clean with all required amenities. Breakfast was awesome with a wide choice of hot and cold food and beverages. Staff was really welcoming and helpful plus they offer you as much fruits as you want and one free bottle of water daily, which was really fantastic. The location is also just a 5 minute walk from the Dom and central station plus there is a metro station just in front of the hotel. Great experience and hotel!

  We knew we had booked an apartment but hadn't expected it to be as nice as it was! It was very comfortable and warm and spacious. The apartment is just round the corner from the hotel and it is easy to go there in the morning for breakfast.   Rosi's apartment, just outside the city centre, is spacious and immaculate. We really enjoyed staying there, visiting local cafes and strolling the short 10mins into the main square of Cologne and the Dom.   We arrived 3 hours prior to check in time, yet as the Apartment was ready, we were allowed take up occupancy straight away.We had our own entrance to the swimming pool which we used every day. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly or helpful than they were. We were given assistance with our bags as there was no lift up to the Apartment.... vad folk säger » - It was a very nice room, quite spacious. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Though we don't speak German, their English was so good that it was never a problem. I would highly recommend this hotel to others, especially because the location was also very good.
