  it's a youth hostel in name but its more like a hotel. It's very clean, modern and spacious. The general decor is tasteful and it's quiet. It has 7 floors. The buffet style breakfast is simple but very nice. The room was nice and comfy. At night I couldn't hear other guests or noise from the street. It was good value for money and well located. In the area around the hostel there are restaurants and some b - I was very surprised by this hotel! I was attending a conference and all hotels were fully booked in Cologne so the only fair option was this hotel. I was expecting a terrible hostel but actually I got a nice and spacious room with a view to the cathedral!!! The room was simple but very clean with a comfortable shower and wc. I highly recommend if you want a great location in Koln for a very good price. Staff was great, breakfast simple. The building is also new. Ask for room 703!

  Really pleasant, helpful and friendly staff, extremely clean and comfortable hotel, excellent breakfast included, cheap secure parking at the hotel and it's really convenient for everything in Cologne.   Once i got to the hotel, i never had to take public transport much again, as it is a 5 min walk to shops and the Koelmesse, which was where i went everyday for 4 days. The daily breakfast was very filling, and all you can eat!   The staff was very friendly and most helpful. My room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was an added bonus!
