  Compared with the other hotels I live in the German, the room is large. There is a discount (1 Euro) to visit the castle. You can leave your lagage here after checking out, it's more convenient to visit the castle.   The scenery is like in a romantic book. One can see the castle and the Alps itself with a bit of a snow on their top. Wonderfull.   The Staff were terrific. They had great touring tips and treated us like family. We arrived 2 hours after the desk had closed and one of the staff stayed on-duty to help us get to our room. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was light, but wonderful. The Location was perfect to allow views of the castles before the tour buses arrive and ... vad folk säger » after they left.   The location was excellent. We booked a room with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and it was all it was made out to be - just wonderful. There are only 6 rooms here with most only 1 flight up. It's a quick 5 minute walk to the ticket center for the castle & the King's childhood home.   The hotel is beautiful!! The staff was excellent. Very helpful. I like that most of them spoke English. My room was wonderful. I loved the bathrobes. I also liked having a bathtub.

  Hotel Lisl and the Jaggerhaus have the best possible location for travellers staying in Hohenschwangau. The location is also very close to Linderhoff Castle as well as the beautiful Ettal Monastary if you are renting a car (40-55 minutes away, and a lovely drive).   A family run guest house. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They provided breakfast every morning. Our room faced the two castles. Definently within walking distance of Horn, Schwangau, and Hohenschwangau if you don't mind going for a 20 min walk. It is immaculately clean and well maintained.   I have stayed at the Weinbauer twice before over 10 years and it has retained a traditional and personal service with many of the same staff whilst updating its facilities in a modern, sympathetic and comfortable style.   We liked the openness of the space (even with 6 people it felt like lots of room), the decor (especially in the master bathroom), the functionality of the kitchen, and the very comfortable exit we had right into the front yard with the lawn chairs and our own patio table. We felt right at home. - We - myself and hubby, my two teenagers and my parents - loved Luna Mia (Apt 3). The location could not be beat. Beautiful surroundings everywhere you look. The apartment was very spacious with stainless steel appliances and granite counter top in kitchen. The bathrooms were luxurious.
