The Staff were terrific. They had great touring tips and treated us like family. We arrived 2 hours after the desk had closed and one of the staff stayed on-duty to help us get to our room. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was light, but wonderful. The Location was perfect to allow views of the castles before the tour buses arrive and

Hotel Lisl and the Jaggerhaus have the best possible location for travellers staying in Hohenschwangau. The location is also very close to Linderhoff Castle as well as the beautiful Ettal Monastary if you are renting a car (40-55 minutes away, and a lovely drive). We could not fault it .If we could give 11 out of 10 we would , as mentioned in the reviews the breakfast experience is to be believed . Highly recommend this place if going to Schwangau. Very clean, friendly staff, great atmosphere with views of the castles. Tons of bikes to use, which I recommend using, for a ride around the lake. -

Super nice place and well equipped and maintained. I must say that we were happy we chose this Hotel. The rooms on the above floors had a new Kitchenette and the bathroom were newly done and all kitchen equipments provided were very new and clean. Thanks very much. Free parking was also available and around 5 mts ride to the booking office for the castle tours. The owners were very kind and even offered to support with breakfast being arranged, nice people...surely go again.
