  The scenery is like in a romantic book. One can see the castle and the Alps itself with a bit of a snow on their top. Wonderfull.   The Staff were terrific. They had great touring tips and treated us like family. We arrived 2 hours after the desk had closed and one of the staff stayed on-duty to help us get to our room. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was light, but wonderful. The Location was perfect to allow views of the castles before the tour buses arrive and ... vad folk säger » after they left.   The location was excellent. We booked a room with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and it was all it was made out to be - just wonderful. There are only 6 rooms here with most only 1 flight up. It's a quick 5 minute walk to the ticket center for the castle & the King's childhood home.   A family run guest house. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They provided breakfast every morning. Our room faced the two castles. Definently within walking distance of Horn, Schwangau, and Hohenschwangau if you don't mind going for a 20 min walk. It is immaculately clean and well maintained.   Staying at Haus Luna was truly a wonderful experience. It's an ideal location, especially for visitng Neuschwanstein Castle. Heidi, the staff member we interacted with, was very kind and accommodating. I made a mistake in our booking so we came a day earlier than she expected. We will very likely be back there to visit someday. - Neuschwanstien is one of the most amazing places i have ever been. Haus Luna is near the beautiful castle, you can have a wonderful walk accros the fields to the castle. The accommodation was also amazing, very nice rooms in beautiful bavarian house, the owner was very nice lady, gave us some tips what to do, where to go out for dinner.   This was the most comfortable hotel/BandB we stayed at during our 3 weeks of European travel in 4 different countries. Hotel Christine is immaculately clean and well provisioned. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful of any in Germany and Switzerland. The breakfast was amazing.   Lovely traditional Bavarian vacation apartment. Had a complete kitchen, dining area,bedroom and bath. Also included a lovely sun porch.   Highly recommend this place if going to Schwangau. Very clean, friendly staff, great atmosphere with views of the castles. Tons of bikes to use, which I recommend using, for a ride around the lake. - Extremely helpful staff. Very friendly and with good English. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable.

  The family that runs this hotel is so nice. We didn't feel like we were staying at a hotel but someones home, we will be staying here again. Plus some of the rooms have amazing views of the castles and they are breath taking!
