  Excellent restaurant. Quiet but central location. Very friendly staff. - staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We loved the decor on the landings and in the dining room.We would happily stay there again even in the same room.

  This hotel transcended all our expectations. Beautiful room, superb beds, excellent amenities, exceedingly helpful staff and just a leisurely five minute stroll to the delights of the town of Obernai.   We had an enjoyable stay at the Chateau de Pourtales and do hope to return. Every morning we had a wonderful breakfast served in a cheerful room in the Chateau. Our accommodations were in an adjacent building - quiet, comfortable and clean. The Chateau is surrounded by a beautiful park which includes many interesting works of art. For those who li... vad folk säger » ke to hike or cycle, there is an adjacent parkland which includes a link to a Veloroute Rhin-a cycle route that runs along both sides of the Rhine fro - the chateau is located about 5 minutes drive from the center of Strasbourg. The rooms are in the chalet next to the chateau. Our room was very comfortable with a fan, which was very nice since it was about 30 degrees Cel. during the day. The bar is self service. For € 70 per night incl. breakfast, this hotel we certainly can recommend. At the entrance of the chateau gardens is the wonderful restaurant Jardins du Portales. We really enjoyed lunch, and two times diner for a very reasonable price!
