  Excellent restaurant. Quiet but central location. Very friendly staff. - staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We loved the decor on the landings and in the dining room.We would happily stay there again even in the same room.

  Location is fabulous - by the spectacular Cathedral and other sights in the old town. But, it is not in the middle of the more hectic - less pleasant - touristy streets. The staff - especially Nicholas & Annika - were very helpful and friendly in every instance: restaurant recommendations, directions, making taxi reservations & much more... vad folk säger » . Also, promotes world-renowned chocolatier, Christophe Felder and his courses. A quick look at any of his gorgeous books, and the artistry of his cr - Service was friendly and always helpful tending to special requests. Location could not be better. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room charming and cozy. The beds and linens were first class. The room and bathroom was spacious and airy. Free Wi-Fi a plus and necessary for today's traveler. The vegetarian restaurant two doors down was very good, handy and the owner helpful in delivering a late meal to our room.

  Great location,less than 1m from cathedral, which helps when you need to get back to the hotel and you can use the cathedral's tower as a guiding "light". Room was comfortable. Staff couldn't have been any nicer, they answered all questions, and even explained me how to cross the French-German border by bus.   This was the 2nd time I was at the Hotel de La Cloche. Last year I booked a room for two, this year I booked a room for three. The proprieter and his family are very friendly, the place is very clean and comfortable and at a fantastic location right in the centre of town. The price was very good. I recommend this hotel, and in fact passed their information on to a friedn who plans to travel soon in the Alsace region. - Delightful owners. Wonderful ambience in the low ceilinged rooms oozing of history. Very pleasant breakfast at extra cost. Recommendation as to where to dine was excellent though it is unusual that the restaurant of the same name as the hotel is to be stayed away from....but all ok once explained.
