  We had an enjoyable stay at the Chateau de Pourtales and do hope to return. Every morning we had a wonderful breakfast served in a cheerful room in the Chateau. Our accommodations were in an adjacent building - quiet, comfortable and clean. The Chateau is surrounded by a beautiful park which includes many interesting works of art. For those who li... vad folk säger » ke to hike or cycle, there is an adjacent parkland which includes a link to a Veloroute Rhin-a cycle route that runs along both sides of the Rhine fro - the chateau is located about 5 minutes drive from the center of Strasbourg. The rooms are in the chalet next to the chateau. Our room was very comfortable with a fan, which was very nice since it was about 30 degrees Cel. during the day. The bar is self service. For € 70 per night incl. breakfast, this hotel we certainly can recommend. At the entrance of the chateau gardens is the wonderful restaurant Jardins du Portales. We really enjoyed lunch, and two times diner for a very reasonable price!

  totalt trevlig upplevelse - This was a lovely, country setting, hotel. The people were extraordinary - very helpful and concerned for their guests. The restaurant was fantastic with an excellent menu! - The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and theattention to detail. The village of Mittelhousen is lovely.

  The proximity of the hotel to the Strasbourg Airport sxb, was our reason for choosing Pere Benoit. It was a beautifully appointed, country style inn, authentic to the Alsace region. It had a gorgeous, quiet courtyard, away from the busy street with parking on the premises, although not used by us. We anticipated the need for a restaurant but the hotel one was open until noon & reopened at 1900, alth - We have booked a superior room in this hotel as a stop over for 1 night. Nice spacious room with balcony on the backside. Nice beds and bathroom was ok. Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Breakfast was also very good.
