  We stayed at Au Coeur du Jardin on a long weekend break with my partner. The host was very welcoming and he helped us with all the questions regarding places to visit and where to eat. We really loved the apartment design and the everything was very clean. The size of the room was very big, comfortable and very well decorated. I would highly recommend this beautiful place. - The apartment was big, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It is well located, close to supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and also to most of tourist attractions in the city. Our hosts were very kind. We liked the place very much and we highly recommend it.

  The location was brilliant, on a quiet street close to the pedestrian centre of Lille. It is a 4 guest room B&B in a 140 year old town house - but what rooms and what a house. The décor was faultless and the standard of cleanliness up with the best we have ever encountered - anywhere! Nothing was too much trouble - from collection and return to the railway station in Denis's London taxi to a totally unexpected - Our stay at La Maison was all and more than we expected. Much has already been said by others- but this B and B is very special. Luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean, and the owners and hosts look after every need. Breakfasts were generous and filling- you wont really need lunch! We were picked up from the station in Denis' London cab- and from that moment we were offered the highest standard of service and care. Thankyou Maison- we loved our stay.   This is a small B&B, a beautiful, very comfortable house with friendly attentive owners, who are English-speaking. The house is kept very clean and tidy. It is ideally situated, a short walk from main-line and metro stations and from the art gallery and pedestrianised shopping streets. Many good restaurants and cafes very close.   We returned to the wonderful best Western Why for a night to attend the Lille Braderie. This is a great comfy little hotel with good sound proofing, great views and an excellent position just off the Grand Place. Nespresso machine with genuine cartridges. Free mini bar. It really couldn't get any better. If you have chance book a lunchtime meal, the chef is clearly very good. I will definitely return!
