  Surprisingly large and surprisingly quiet as well, Domus Academica is a good place for those who like minimalism and is seld-contained. There are several buildings, including houses for living, swimming pool and sauna (the two last-mentioned are free for visitors: every morning from 7 till 8:30 for women and from 8:30 till 10 for men). Each room has a separate bathroom and a tiny kitchen, while the houseware could be borrowed from the kitchen - We just needed a quiet place where we could cook food, and rest between shopping and sightseeing, without carpets on the floor. Since we both have to avoid certain foods, the cooking and opportunity to keep food cold was essential. It was very cheap compared to other self-catering options, and the windows effectively shut out noise from the streets. There wasn't an endless party going on as in some hostels.   Hotellet var mycket rent och snyggt. Fantastiskt läge mitt i centrum, nära till allt. Tyst och lugnt, bra att sova, inga ljud alls! Njöt av att det fanns badkar på toaletten! Frukostbuffen var mångsidig och god. Vänligt bemötande av hotellpersonalen i receptionen! - Väldigt bra

We weren`t able to come before 11pm, and wrote an e-mail about it to hotel, they send us number and passcode to keybox where I`d found my key when we managed to get there. It was nice.   det va en bra lägenhet med nära till stan för ett bra pris - The location was fabulous. We liked the check-in procedure (hassle-free). The space was better than expected.   Very nice and fresh rooms. Got a bit worried at first when I saw the exterior of the hotel... Looked like it had seen its glorious days 30 years ago. So I was quite a surprise when I saw the interior. Sauna and gym was also ok but had strange restrictions cause the area was shared between sexes.   I was really impressed with the total abcence of staff on reception : you just get a SMS with the room number and key code for doors. Everything is already prepared - the look into the future ! :) - Rooms are clean and comfortable. You have all you need - kitchen ware, microwave, cooking oven, tea pot, good fridge, iron with a board etc.
