The villa was in the perfect location to enjoy the beach and the local bars and restaurants. Close to a supermarket and 5 minute walk from the bus stop to take you into the Old Town.
The owner was very friendly and gave us complimentary drinks on our arrival which was a nice touch. -

With bus number 6 close to the villa it was only 10 min to old town. The owner was very helpful and drove us to the main bus station when we leaved the Villa Ruza.

The villa is in a good location for exploring Dubrovnik and the surrounding area, especially if you have a car. There is a lovely coastal walk just a minutes walk from the villa, and loads of places to swim or watch the cruise boats coming in and out of the port. If you climb up the garden at the back of the pool there are wonderful views over the port and bridge. The old town is a short bus or taxi ride away. It is located right in old town, in close proximity to a lot of attractions. The city wall is 5 mins away and so were the cable cars. The rooms were newly furnished so it felt clean and modern. Both staff were very friendly and were very willing to accomodate to our needs. Excellent hotel and great value for its price!

Very nice, quiet location on the Lapad hill with great view to the old city 100 m away near the small church. Well equiped apartment (also wi-fi was available), suitable for families with children. Location was excellent with amazing views and beautiful gardens. Banje beach and the Old town just 5mins away. There's a convenience store at the bottom of the steps to the main road. I love to swim and my boyfriend was able to stay indoors and work from his laptop in our air conditioned terrace Villa. Katarina is such a warm, friendly and helpful person and she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home. I appreciate her personal approach. Everything about Hotel Lapad was first class. We arrived very early off the ferry from Bari, Italy - they stored our luggage and set us on the bus to the Old Town, which left every 10 mins from outside the hotel! The host is a lovely friendly lady. She was even kind enough to give me a lift to the bus station when I left, as it was raining. The room was spotless and quite spacious and the location is very good, a nice area 10 minutes bus ride to old town and buses are very frequent. 15 minute walk to the nearest beach.

It's a great location just of the Stradun, really easy to get around to the cable car, the walls, restaurants etc.
**Tip** Take a backpack and not suitcases, there are a LOT of steps in Dubrovnik old town and carrying a suitcase up and down them is a bit of a pain. don't let that put you off staying in the old town though, it's romantic and beautiful.
