The apartment is simple, but it is clean and spacious enough for a couple.
We like to stay in apartments, because we want to have the option of cooking our own meals, and because it is generally more economical than staying in a hotel. In this case, the two-burner cook-top was a little minimal, but we nevertheless were able to prepare two meals without any major problems. We suggested to Vesna (the landlady) to include spatulas, which were missing.
One good surprise was to find a washer in the. alla recensioner »
Beautiful apartment, value for money, big kitchen, comfortable clean bathroom, washing machine, big balcony with
Stunning view of the ocean and Old City. Lots of comfortable space for 4 people. Free WiFi was great. About a 15-20 min walk to Old town but it's a nice scenic walk. Might want to get a taxi back as it's all uphill. highly recommend this apartment, I'd even come back here myself.
We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We could not have asked for more. The view of Dubrovnik from the balcony was amazing. The apartment had all of the necessary items for a comfortable stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
He made us feel very welcome. We had a great time and look forward to returning.
The room was very nice. Clean and well kept. Aircon was a godsend as it
was very hot walking up all the hills around Dubrovnik. Very quiet on a
night, even thoughts it situated next to a fairly busy road. Supermarket
and bar close by. 10 minute walk down some steps to Banje Beach (East
West), which is lovely.
The view from the balcony was excellent. The bedrooms were bright and airy and both looked onto the sea. Facilities excellent, second bedroom did lack a wardrobe though so had to share main bedrooms. Staff gave us the number of a pizza place on arrival so we could order in, it was late.
Two bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking Dubrovnik. Everything was very comfortable and the view was perfect. It's a pretty good walk into town, and it's steep but that's a small price to pay for the view. We really enjoyed this place.
The view from the balcony was one indeed fantastic. One can sit there
for hours just watching the sea and cruise ships coming and going. The
owner of the flat was very helpful and even provided a Croatian mobile
for us to use during the week.
Great location, friendly and helpful owner , great base for exploring the city.
Nice apartment with great balcony. Very good for two couples.
Amazing million dollar view! Helpful.
The views!
The balcony was spacious.
Excellent view of Lokrum Island and the old city of Dubrovnik from the balcony. Less than 10 minutes to the beach (once you can find the access stairs from the street below).
Apartment was clean and well equipped. the owner supplied a map and guide book to Dubrovnik.
situation of apartment overlooking the bay.
Admittedly the view is great but there are literally thousands of better apartments along this road with the exact same view. Balcony chairs old and broken, table painted over to disguise the fact it's tatty.
The WiFi connection never really worked.
The 3pm check in. The address was wrong on the website and we had to disturb the people living at the address to call the number provided to find these apartmentsand correct address. We were efficiently picked up however, and bags taken to the apartment 5mins away, but we could not get into the apartment which was inconvenient,as we wanted to shower and relax a bit before sightseeing.
Could have made more use of the outside space, a terrace would have been
nice with patio furniture as there are really lovely views. The
apartment is located a 15 minute stroll downhill into the centre of the
old town. Its tough going on the way back up!.
Location is outside the city walls by perhaps 15 minute walk. You can get a bus (number 8) although it is worth writing down the bus times as there are only a couple an hour. There are no shops around the apartment so if arriving late-have food. Don't let any of this put you off though as the view alone and the fact that the balcony has sun beds and sun all afternoon, is fab.
We are a family of five and unfortunately the extra bed was a sofa bed
in the living room which was really too short and hard for an adult to
sleep on a whole week. One night is probably fine on it, but not a
whole week.
Guy who meet us stood chatting to a mate and just watched us pass with all our luggage obviously looking for the place. He waited a good while before asking if we were looking for the apartment. He then didnt offer to help with our huge bags in the boiling heat - no chivalry there!.
Shower drained poorly. Kitchen faucet leaks. 445 steps down to the wall. Internet spotty.
The Nearest Supermarket is over 10 minutes walk away, and is very small.
poor reception from person who met us . did not even know our name. Cups etc were all stained so we had to wash them all. Food stains on cupboard had to be cleaned off. Smell from settee was unpleasant. Twin room not appropriate for adults (twin beds ar right angles to each other with no storage for clothes etc) but ok for young children.
This place is a dump. There was a lingering odour in the place and the furniture was charity shop standard. It is more of a council flat than a place you would want to holiday in. The entrance to the flat complex is dark, filthy, graffitied, and you wouldn't feel safe walking through on your own. Avoid this flat unless your standards are very, very low.
