  It had a really nice view over the Bund. Everything was white and clean. Staff was really attentive and they helped us on our problems with a lost passport. It had a washing machine. The kitchen, while not spectacular, is quite adequate for a short stay.   The rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and the bath was huge!   Amazing hotel, excellent service. It was my birthday during this time and I had not told any of the staff but they must of deduced this from my ID and so they sent me a cake. This was a nice touch to an excellent hotel.   Stuff are professionals. They know how to deal with Guests . Le Meridian is choosing them Very Carefully. I respect that. Location is the best for everything. You will enjoy Shanghai . Facilities are kind of okay . they can make more. Very cooperating stuff, they will do whatever you want. they treat you like a VIP member. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our room on the 37th floor as well.

  Location, location, location! I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily. The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there. It was disappointing I didn't get the same kind of r - The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and especially the rooms is outstanding. The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi. The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.
