Loved the atrium bar (looking all the way up to the top and the interesting music) - didn't have a chance to spend time in the bar on the top but will definitely do so next trip! Really loved the robe in the room too. -

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Concierge, Nicholas knows everything. He provided excellent recommendations for dining, made the reservations and provided directions. There are great dining options close to the hotel. The complimentary tea and coffee and cookies in the lounge 24 hours was a god -send after a day out in the Shanghai heat. The empoyees and staff were very friendly and their english is good.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The location of the hotel cant be better. Right in the middle of the
city, on the famous pedestrian street nanjing road and next to
people's park. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich
and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our
room on the 37th floor as well.

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

Loved my stay at the Marriott, location is perfect as very close to Nanjing road and restaurants. Staff were helpful, receptive & professional. Facilities are of course top-notch and very high standards. I would stay here again.
