This is a choice for accommodation that delivers on multiple aspects. When one thinks of Shanghai, The Bund pops up not long after. This hostel's locations is ideally ON THE BUND!!l!! It offers on a budget what others pay hundreds of US dollars for in other forms of accommmodation. Staff is great, interior is clean, and lots of opportunities to me

Brilliant location right by the Bund, excellent places to eat nearby.
Short easy walk to Metro 10 mins max but lots of cheap taxis at the end
of the road. The friendly staff spoke English and gave 5 star service!
Nothing was too much trouble. We had a triple room on 4th floor with
free wifi in the room and free internet in a computer room on the same
floor!! The beds were comfortable and clean, shower powerful and hot.
For less than £7 per night per person, in our triple room I have no
complain

very friendly environment, nice people.. perfect location in the center of shanghai, but in the same time far from the noisy crowds. rooms are rather clean and lobby cafe is very cozy. -

I took a single room for one night and I liked the atmosphere of the hostel very much. It is located in a nice street, not far away from the tube station and absolutely in the center. Everything is nearby. I would highly recommend the hostel. -

We stayed in a double room for one night only and were happy with the hostel. Nice big, clean room with a great view, big new bathroom. Shanghai Blue Mountain Bund Youth Hostel is a hidden in a side road (great as not too noisy) but has a GREAT location, about 3-4 minutes to Nanjing Road metro station. You need to look for the sign though as there is a few hotels/hostels in the same building. Staff was friendly and spoke good english. There are plenty of places to eat around as well as supermar

Quite a comfortable, nicely decorated hotel with a spacious room and private bath- very relaxing cafe area downstairs. Wifi almost reached the room, but better downstairs. Cleaned every day. Nice location near metro line 4. -

Almost all the staff spoke English. I stayed in a private double room and it was spacious and clean enough, the bathroom is very good, and the mattress OK. Wifi in the room. Quiet at night. Perfect location, close to the main street to go shopping, and to the line 2 metro station which takes you straight to Pudong.
