We had a large, well equipped comfortable room. We loved the decor - wooden floors, brick walls, bright color schemes and large, original art work all over the place. Welcoming and helpful staff took a personal interest in our stay. The breakfast was tres delicieux, service impeccable! The metro station is a 1-minute walk from which you can get anywhere in the city easily. The main shopping and restaurant area is a 5-minute walk.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, let me keep my luggage in the luggage room all day after check out. The first time I stayed I did not eat at the Indian resteraunt, but this time I did and it was excellent. Great salad bar, entrees and desserts. I was surprised to see a delightful Indian restaurant attached to the hotel. I did not get to eat there but it smelled wonderful from the moment I checked in.
The hotel was very clean and seemed to have been remodeled recently. Carpet is not often that clean. The continental breakfast was more than usually offered. Staff were very helpful.
The bed was extremely comfortable & location was suitable. I will go back.

I liked a lot the downtown location next to Concordia Unversity and the fact I could walk to nearby Crescent street bars and nightclubs. Dorm room and bed were clean, shared bathroom was ok too. Plus a free basic breakfast, excellent value, cheaper than a taxi ride home. -

The hotel is a Victorian house and so had the more personal touch, the service was excellent and the location was very central to shopping etc. There was air conditioning available so we could adjust the room temperature accordingly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was hot and easy to use.

It's a very smart hotel, perfect for a city trip; rooms cleverly designed for cleanliness. Fridge in room, and computer (+ wi-fi) - and although it failed to start initially, this only demonstrated the efficiency of the staff who got it going within 5 mins. Loved the location and quiet hotel although full. Excellent security. Amazing shower. Fellow who worked the front desk was young but polite, friendly, and helpful. Check in was easy and efficient. Good price for room. Computer in room was nice touch. Decor simple and nice (ie: washroom sink, shower, blinds). Very very very clean room. Immaculate. These are the reasons I would come back.

Location was very good, about 3 blocks north of St Catherine street - the main shopping street. By foot 10mn to the cinema, 10-15mn from Chinatown, 15mn from Latin quarter, 20mn from rue St Paul (the old city part). Efficient staff, pet friendly, kitchen well equipped. Pool, some gym equipment, laundry facilities. Regular supermarket at 2,5 small blocks, organic supermarket even closer.
