  We had a large, well equipped comfortable room. We loved the decor - wooden floors, brick walls, bright color schemes and large, original art work all over the place. The staff were great and the breakfast was to die for. This was such a fun place to stay and very good value. It is everything the internet says it is, and more. Welcoming and helpful staff took a personal interest in our stay. The breakfast was tres delicieux, service impeccable! The metro station is a 1-minute walk from which you can get anywhere in the city easily. The main shopping and restaurant area is a 5-minute walk.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful, let me keep my luggage in the luggage room all day after check out. Very clean and services very convent, the laundry was open late, kitchen facility, and the cafe off the lobby was great for early morning breakfast before a 9:00 am city tour.   The first time I stayed I did not eat at the Indian resteraunt, but this time I did and it was excellent. Great salad bar, entrees and desserts. There was so much to choose from I didn't get a chance to try everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed very comfortable and the breakfast was also more than adequate. Not sure if there is anyother place in the city that the room rates and parking is - I was surprised to see a delightful Indian restaurant attached to the hotel. I did not get to eat there but it smelled wonderful from the moment I checked in. The hotel was very clean and seemed to have been remodeled recently. Carpet is not often that clean. The continental breakfast was more than usually offered. Staff were very helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable & location was suitable. I will go back.

  I liked a lot the downtown location next to Concordia Unversity and the fact I could walk to nearby Crescent street bars and nightclubs. Dorm room and bed were clean, shared bathroom was ok too. Plus a free basic breakfast, excellent value, cheaper than a taxi ride home. - The staff at Bishop are grand. Moreover, the beds were very comfortable, so was the bedding. The rooms were well kept.

  Love the location. The fact that is so quiet and could get a good night sleep. Love the beds and pillows The Wi-Fi actually works! Although we didn't take advantage this time, we really love having the option of breakfast in the morning (we will take advantage next time). We love the staff, very welcoming, professional, helpful and friendly - The hotel is a Victorian house and so had the more personal touch, the service was excellent and the location was very central to shopping etc. There was air conditioning available so we could adjust the room temperature accordingly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was hot and easy to use.

  Tony's knowledge of Montreal and points of interest was spot on we never had to drive our rental car while we were there. The location was prime within shopping districts museums and restaurants. our room was wonderful the beds were extremely comfortable and after a long day of touring the city it was wonderful to come back to be great night slee... vad folk säger » p. - Very very clean, very very kind and helpful staff, large bathrooms (one even with bathtub), convenient location 2 min from a metro stop...   It's a very smart hotel, perfect for a city trip; rooms cleverly designed for cleanliness. Fridge in room, and computer (+ wi-fi) - and although it failed to start initially, this only demonstrated the efficiency of the staff who got it going within 5 mins. Excellent location for metro, shopping, and eating out. (Try Brit et chips, just 5 mins awa... vad folk säger » y - rather superior fish & chips.) And not expensive for this quality in Montreal. Relatively late checkout, too. - Loved the location and quiet hotel although full. Excellent security. Amazing shower. Fellow who worked the front desk was young but polite, friendly, and helpful. Check in was easy and efficient. Good price for room. Computer in room was nice touch. Decor simple and nice (ie: washroom sink, shower, blinds). Very very very clean room. Immaculate. These are the reasons I would come back.
