  Gorgeous, peaceful, romantic lake right outside you're patio. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great. The staff were wonderful and friendly and so helpful. I had trouble finding the place and the buses were no longer running, so they came to pick me up at the train station! - It is on a lake with great water views from the rooms.   We stayed here for 2 nights for a romantic weekend getaway in November, and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as we were in front of their door, we were greeted with a smile and in French (my husband and I live in France and our transactions email were in french)-they were clearly anticipating our arrival! Even though it was too early to check-in, the lovely hosts let us leave our bags ups - We had a wonderful city break here - our hosts went out of their way to welcome and assist us - the rooms are beautifully designed with added touches such as water carafes by the bed, small bottle of wine and wine glasses etc. Breakfasts were ample with freshly made crepes one morning and delicious French toast the next. Chris lent us a guide book and had taken the time to plan an alternative route on a city map which we followed on a fine autumn Saturday. Sunday, it poured and once again Chris

  Everything. The rooms are large with great decor. The beds a large and comfy. The breakfast is right on the money also with home made preserves and breads various meats a fruits. The host Kelly can't do enough for you. Location wise it's perfect as your far enough out for free parking (ask Kelly for details when you get there) but only a 10 minute... vad folk säger » walk away from the city centre. I can usually find a problem but there really was nothing at all, perfect stay and great value. - Wonderful hosts make this a must stay in Bruges. Hire the bikes from Kelly for a tour of the old city's narrow streets during the day and finish the evening with a horse and cart from the town square after a meal at Rest. Cambrinus. If you're lucky the Glockenspiel concert at 9pm in the square will be on, it's free and not to be missed.
