  Janet and Leister were very friendly and thoughtful hosts - every detail was attended to. The provision of ear plugs to prevent auditory assault from my travelling companion was particularly welcomed. The history of the house is most interesting and Janet has excelled in acquiring furnishing and ornaments of the era. Thank you - we had a - Drysdale house,along with Lester and Janice,was a lovely place to stay for a long weekend. The atmosphere was charming and very pretty. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the bikes as well.

  From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive.   Mooltan House was a great place to stay if you are visiting Hepburn Springs for a day at the Hepburn mineral Spa, bush walking, relaxing or taking in the lovely surrounds of Daylesford/Hepburn Springs. The accommodation was perfect. We stayed in the newer studio rooms which had everything we needed but had full access to the house itself which is ... vad folk säger » a rambling old guesthouse. There are many historial photographs and artifacts to check out plus a library, pool room, loungeroom with fire etc. All 4 - The very cosy atmosphere. The sense of history. An Old World charm. Very quaint, in the best sense of the the word. I am planning to return in the future aided with the knowledge of the features of the guest house and the variety that it provided. You could really spend a day just exploring the building itself.

  The location, the staff, the restaurant. The setting is beautiful, and Daylesford is a very pretty country town. The staff were helpful and attentive. There was a problem with some shampoo my wife bought from the hotel (they gave her the wrong thing, but she didn't find out until we got home almost 2 weeks later). We ate there both nights, and had brea - Beautiful location on Lake Daylesford. Peaceful walks around the lake. Very comfortable room with attractive decor and lighting. Great bathroom facility with heated floor! Attentive, caring and friendly staff. Wonderful restaurant with exceptional ambience. A very pleasurable experience overall.

  We stayed for the 4th yr in a row for bowls week. Wouldnt stay anywhere else. Beds are very comfortable, plenty hot water, great parking, friendly and helpful staff, especially when helping with the free wifi so as we could keep in touch with the family. Loved the resident cats once I found their hidey holes. - It was clean and well balanced ... vad folk säger » with towels additional pillows and blankets.. Needed. The room was clean, large enough and the bed was comfortable. At the room rate price I felt it represented good value.
