  EXCELLENT service from ALL reception staff. Clean. Easy access to trams, being location on St Kilda Road. Great cafe. Good shower (altho over bath) value for money - Location idea for us as our conference was just round the corner! Accessibility was great - plenty of tramp-carts to parts of the city

  Nothing was too much trouble for your staff. We arrived earlier than check in so our luggage was stored for us & taken up to our room ready for us when we returned. The porters stored the luggage at check out willingly & when I asked to fetch something out of my bag which they had already taken to the storage room the were very happy to go... vad folk säger » back & get my bag for me. The breakfast was wonderful. The omelete lady made me the best omelete I have ever eaten. The made to order coffee was - I have stayed at this hotel on 4 other occasions and this visit by far was the best experience. The rooms were luxurious, spacious and very comfortable, hardly heard any noise, a great bonus, staff we met were extremely helpful and very friendly, even the young man who fixed our tv, very prompt and he knew what he was doing! Would definitely re-book again, thank you for a great stay :)

  I loved every part of our stay, the location was excellent with so many options for meals the room was spotless & very comfortable & staff very helpful my daughter loved the pool & shopping in the many shops just a lift ride away.   Loved everything. We booked a studio apartment for 2 nights. Very modern, awesome air conditioning units, a small balcony, sound proof as well, there was construction going across the road but when inside the apartment you can't hear anything. Loved the foxtel in the lounge and also a small tv in the bedroom, excellent well equipped kitchen facili... vad folk säger » ties. We booked here to go to a cirque du soleil show which wasn't even a 10 min walk away and then we had dinner on the waterfront close to the hotel - Lovely apartment, great location that suited our needs perfectly. Close to city, free transport using circle line tram to MCG & city. Etihad Stadium closeby. Mecure suggested Limo transfers from & to airport great value for 3 of us given late night arrival & early morning departure. Appreciated being escorted to our apt by Manager. Will definitely stay again.

  The internet photos were a true representation of a lovely, modern, clean, stylish motel. The water features around the property were a lovely touch. The pillow-top mattress was awesome, as were the pillows... I've never slept on such a comfortable bed.   There was a pleasant atmosphere and the big space of the reception area was inviting. My room was very clean, lovely and modern. The Bathroom was also very modern and of a good size. I requested to have a quiet room which was accomodated. It was good to have a small desk as well for working purposes. There was plenty of storage. I have also stayed at the Ibis in Brisbane, and I have been imp - The front desk staff were excellent. So helpful. We were in Melbourne looking for a flat for our daughter so had some paperwork to do. Staff did some photocopying and faxing for us and it was no trouble for them.(We had our own laptop and internet) We needed a carpark and were able to have one. I n a visit a few weeks before the weather was very hot and they gave us an iceblock and cold drink on our return from house hunting. Very thoughtful-full marks. We will certainly visit again.

  The staff were exceptional, the rooms were amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. Even walking into the reception and smelling the beautiful scent of the burning candles was such a lovely experience. I ended up staying for 2 nights as I had scored a free night through the overstay program!   Hotel was fine and located close to the main shopping/restaurant areas which is the main reason I believe you would stay here - especially for us with a 6mth old we didn't want to have to load up the car everytime we wanted to fo anywhere. We've stayed in many hotels/motels and thought that this hotel was a little pricey compared to other options ... vad folk säger » in the area. One note for those with kids who still need a stroller, try to book a room on the ground floor as the heritage listed elevator is very sm - The unit was well appointed had everything we required. The proximity to the city centre was great. Parking onsite was appreciated. The speed of check in and check out was really fast. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful real country hospitality. The supplied items was extensive not that I needed it but the fact that laundry powder was supplied was pretty impressive.

  The one bed apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was perfect and we liked how convenient parking was.   Great location for my purposes. Good on site parking at reasonable rates. Rooms are comfortable and nicely re-furbished. This is a comfortable value for money hotel with good access to Prahran eateries and very conveniently located on St Kilda Road which makes it very easy to tram in and out of town. We were not met on our late arrival despite prior notice to this effect although the Manager was obviously keeping an eye out for us from his residence because he did eventually appear.   We overnighted as we had an early-morn departure the next day. Family (incl 2 grandchildren) joined us for dinner. My 5 yo g-son adored the pasta bolognese and ate every mouthful - he thanked the chef, too. The chef (in whites) personally delivered the ice-cream dessert, then encouraged the 3 yo to finish her vegies so she could have her desser... vad folk säger » t too. He brought it over when she had around 2 mouthfuls left, and that spurred her to finish it and get her reward. he was just wonderful, and the - We were staying overnight en route to a convention so accommodation was very convenient. Upgraded as it was my husband's birthday which was lovely. Excellent gym and pool facilities for early morning fitness. Evening snack meal great too. Would stay again if passing through with little time to go into city. Also saved on expensive transfer in and out of city which is worth factoring into the equation of overall cost.
