We went straight to the Sorrento to see if we could leave our luggage there because check-in wasn't until 4pm.   Of the 4 hotels we stayed in on this 2week trip, Vintage Park was the best. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to assist with whatever we asked. The hotel was well appointed, clean and very comfortable-it felt "homey"! Glad our stay was only 2nights. Earlier in the trip we stayed at a Hyatt Regency in Va - Location was good for us. Came in by train and spent a night before an Alaskan cruise and returned for 3 more nights. In same block was a ywca with inexpensive breakfast/lunch and a deli/store across the street for snacks. Quiet and clean. Very helpful staff. Stored luggage because we arrived early in the day and our train out wasn't until late on the day we checked out. Could easily walk to Pike St. For market and shopping.
