Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. Ferndale hotel is on its own nestled high up on a ledge surrounded by trees making it a very cosy romantic place to stay just what we wanted and the four poster room number 6 was clean and the bed was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the stay at this hotel. It is located in a beautiful location. The restaurant had views of the bay/seafront. Our room was located on Belgrave rd, so we had wonderful views of the gardens in Abbey Park. The breakfast was wonderful and very comprehensive! My 4 yr old son wanted to buy the hotel (we were in Torquay viewing properties). -

There were excellent facilities at the hotel (swimming pool, games area etc) and plenty to keep our children occupied. The rooms were very clean and well serviced and the hotel is in a great location, near to Torquay town and beach, but in a quiet area. -

A very nice hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We called in early in the morning and as our room was ready we were allowed to book in straight away rather than waiting until the afternoon which was very helpful. -
