  Despite poor weather that put paid to our weekend golfing break, we still had a great time in Torquay. Janet and Andrew both made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend anyone staying in Torquay to look them up. - the owners were very hospitable and friendly.   I liked everything, they were very welcoming and as I was travelling alone I felt very relaxed there. The room was large and comfy and the dining room was most welcoming. I only had breakfast at the hotel but this was very nice. - Very friendly and service was excellent. All the facilities were excellent and the hotel was in a good location.

  Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious.   Chris and Karen are fantastic hosts and cannot do enough for you. My son plays for Torquay United and lives a long way from home so we don't get to see him very often, Karen allowed him to come and join us for breakfast even though he never stayed at the baytree.
