What a fantastic experience!
The manor was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The included breakfasts were hearty, lovingly prepared, and made with locally-sourced ingredients. Best of all, the owners made me feel right at home, with never-ending tea and cakes,and cookies and warm drinks delivered to my room (spontaneously and free of charge!). T

The second time we have stayed here and it is as good, if not better than before. Stayed in the fourposter bedroom. The bed is very comfortable. Nancy, the owner is very welcoming and makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Homemade biscuits in the room instead of packet biscuits, which means Nancy really cares to make you feel welcome. A lovely place to stay and will go back soon.

The room was of extremely high quality, and there was a lot of thought put in to the design and facuilities avaliable. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly, and made it feel like we were at home there. The food was also excellent, we had both dinner and breakfast there and enjoyed both. The location was quiet and relaxing, and it was nice to be out of the hussle and bussle of the city and just really enjoy the countryside and the views.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights when attending a wedding nearby

This is the best B&B we have stayed in, everything is of superb quality, thoughtfully laid out and the location is beautiful.

As you might expect with such a great place it's a little more expensive than -
Very friendly and charming hosts who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent with homegrown bacon, sausages and eggs and homemade bread. We also liked eating around the communal table as we chatted with a very nice couple who were also staying.

I liked the very thoughtful touches - the good supply of decent coffee, the supply of toiletries, the dressing gowns and slippers. I like the fact the hotel was very quiet and I liked the garden. I liked the tasteful decor. There is a good ambience. I felt as if I'd had a restful stay somewhere lovely. The breakfast was good too. I liked the fact that there was no problem with parking. I was visiting Bath and parking is a nightmare so I decided to stay at the Northey and have no hassle.
