We stayed for 1 night in Aug 08 at Jesmonds to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We both loved everything about the hotel and the restaurant and unlike other reviews thought it was very good value for what we had. Our bill for 1 night in a superiour room with dinner and breakfast, a bottle of Champagne and quite a lot of drinks at the bar cam in at £230, which for the quality was very very good. все обзоры »
Thought the staff and evening meal were first rate.Location, rooms, food was great and general service. helpful and friendly, food was excellent and a good selection of wines all areas were clean and well appointed. we will reccomend Jesmonds. The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was its location. Highworth is not the prettiest town you'll ever visit and there are a few boarded up shops nearby. If you need a base to visit other places near by please don't let this put you off, we both had a very relaxing and enjoyable night at Jesmondes. We had room 1 overlooking the street, no double glazing or shutters so we could hear the traffic, however later in the evening it was more entertaining than the strip in Vegas. Cars racing and pipping, police chases and a fight complete with foul language woke us up in the early hours. I couldn't get the window open to try to stop a young girl being attacked by a drunken lad, very distressing.front of house was not terribly helpful or chatty.
