Clean and comfortable. Pleasant decor and furnishing. Helpful friendly and courteous proprietor. I stay in a lot of hotels and you learn that the first thing to do is check everything works, if there is to be the slightest chance of anything being fixed before you leave. So when a light bulb blew I was delightfully surprised to find it instantly replaced without my even reporting it.

excellent hotel will recommend to friends. We thought the service was excellent the rooms were great with a lot of attention to detail. Loved the whole place. Beautiful surroundings, fabulous accommodation, wonderfully clean & fresh bedding. The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Slaughters Country Inn and the tranquil surroundings of what is a stunning village. The staff were very welcoming, very friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Our room, in the main building, had beautiful views over the rear garden and ponds. Lydia and Jill were gracious, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was large, clean and so very convenient to shopping, restaurants and drives to the Cotswolds. Breakfast was excellent and served by a smiling Lydia and Jill!

Hey, the key pick-up was Cheltenham! I used to live there and had forgotten how nice it was. Old school mammers and full of charm. Apartment was just as described by Suzanne and fully equiped. The only problem was getting the grill to work - never had one before that only works when the door is closed! - Great location and so much more pleasant
