  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.

We stayed in a self catering room on this occasion and found it to have everything we needed for a wonderful stay.   The accommodation was very pleasant in the cottage room but i felt it wasn't very private, i also thought we had booked accommodation in the actual hotel and as i am waiting for a knee replacement the steps were difficult. A lovely spot to stay in and we would happily return and would highly recommend the pub to anyone intending to stop in that area.

The view and sound of the sea from our room. The location is brilliant for walking the coast path to beautiful bays, and only 15 minutes drive to Salcombe. The village of Hope Cove is really pretty and quiet, with a very small Post Office stores.
