  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Overall a fantastic stay and my wife and I will certainly be going back again. - Staff were very professional, friendly & attentive providing an excellent service. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.

The bathrooms were out of this world, with twin free standing tubs, a walk-in shower room and huge marble spaces. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.   The accommodation was very pleasant in the cottage room but i felt it wasn't very private, i also thought we had booked accommodation in the actual hotel and as i am waiting for a knee replacement the steps were difficult. The food and staff in the bar were good but we were not able to book a table in the bar and it was too crowded to relax and ... o que as pessoas dizem » enjoy our food, the tables were crammed in to every available space. - The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful - we were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. The ales and the food in the pub (including the breakfasts) were absolutely fabulous! The room was super, really spacious and very clean and comfortable, excellent en suite too. A lovely spot to stay in and we would happily return and would highly recommend the pub to anyone intending to stop in that area.

The view and sound of the sea from our room. The location is brilliant for walking the coast path to beautiful bays, and only 15 minutes drive to Salcombe. The village of Hope Cove is really pretty and quiet, with a very small Post Office stores.
