Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

the friendly nature of the hosts, the wonderful information they provided both in a written and verbal manner about the area and the breakfast - wonderful - The guest house was central to where we wanted to be. The friendliness of the owners. First impressions and facilities were excellent.

The owners and staff were very welcoming and ensured that we had a veryenjoyable stay. In fact we had such a lovely break we extended our stayby an extra day! It was really nice to relax in the pool after a long day walking and enjoying the activities and beautiful scenery of the lakes. The breakfast was delicious. Worth every penny - a fantastic small hotel
It snowed heavily during our stay and the staff even cleared the snow from our car - We stayed in the Bowness suite and it was beautiful, we could not fault a thing at this place, will return soon

The staff were very friendly and attentive.The grounds are superb and if you want simply to relax and do nothing the public rooms are delightful places to spend time. - The staff and service were exceptional. Everything from the cosy very well decorated room, warm hostess who was extremely helpful in finding activities and transport info. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a minute away from the lake. Breakfast was very nice and the access to the SPA at the Old McDonald is the cherry on top. We really felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel.

they looked after our requirements of the menu as my wife didn't want what was on the sweet menu, they said no problem. she asked what do you like and they made it happen. wow impressive
the chief was out standing in the presentation and taste of all the food we had.
we really recommend the food top class at reasonable price.
