  The people at Martins Guesthouse were very friendly and the breakfast was perfect. I had the small room with a tiny ensuite bathroom on the top floor, but I knew that beforehand and I do not need much space - so it was perfectly ok for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to the many foreign visitors there for the festival.

  A lovely apartment (Haddington Place), which despite being on a very busy corner is quiet (esp. in the bedrooms) with loads of light. Linens provided were very nice. - There's nothing to complain about this beautiful modern, spacious apartment. We travelled with our 25 yr old daughter. Location was excellent. Nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's about a 20 minute walk to Princes Street. We did not mind. There are buses going that way every 10 mins. Apartment had a nice homely feel with a lovely private garden which we enjoyed. Much better than living in an hotel room. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
