Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable.   We were upgraded to the master suite for the same rate we were paying, as there was some confusion over our booking. When we opened the door we were wowed, absolutley fantastic view over Cardiff Bay and the room was very comfortable and quite. This was very different and miles better than the backpackers place I stayed at in London. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is the most enjoyable continental breakfast I have ever seen in hostels, and there are free dinner nights.   Nice welcome on arrival. Good sized room with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Our room was on the road side of the building and as it was a warm night we needed the window open. Noise from the traffic was quite loud. Decided to eat in the restaurant and I'm so glad we did. What a fantastic dinner! The staff - The staff. The General Manager (Gerry) and/or Neil were often present to ensure that the needs of our group of 8 "mature gentlemen" were catered for. All the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We all enjoyed the breakfast and dinner experiences. Thanks to the staff for helping to make a great rugby weekend - despite the result of the big match! We'll be back!
