Fabulous B&B. We stayed in the apartment which was like home from home. The cupboard was stocked with the essentials and the fridge with beer, wine and water.
The breakfast was superb. Homemade pancakes, croissants and delicious jams and marmalades. Everything one might need to take to the beach is available to borrow.

Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. Very clean, well equipped and great view. The balcony was huge and great place to relax. The beach is only 5 min away and there are several beaches (Costa Rei area, Villasimius within 20-30 min drive). One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at was only 5 min away (Mariana Gio) and located right in the beach. The TV even had english channels which was nice for late night relaxing. The bed, although firm was very comfortable.

The Cavalli family have shown us they go the extra mile in the event of problems. Simply outstanding.

We had a nice evening with a lot of interesting people which we met during the good dinner. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean, you'll find everything you need. The location is a little bit lonely but typical for a agriturismo and there are two awesome beaches nearby (only reached by car though). Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Very nice guesthouse. There's the main old building and a more modern annexe. The rooms in the old building are more authentic, but we were very happy with our room on the top floor of the newer building. Nice terrace with great view over the city.

We were very happy with our stay. The best part was the lovely staff, the owner Monika kindly agreed to modify our booking when we realized how big the island was and also wanted to visit the east coast. The rooms at Mare Lughente are very clean and comfortable, the small town is lovely and there are a number of beautiful places to visit nearby.

Real Italian coffee maker was very sweet surprise. It had to be just
hotel for one night before flight (had to leave early) but it was the
best we stayed in all Sardinia. We really enjoyed stay there, if I go
back to Sardinia around Cagliari, I stay there again for sure. We
traveled around Sardinia, ant it was the best apartment of all we
stayed. Worth to stay.
