  We were given a first-floor apartment with kitchenette and terrace from which we could watch the moon rise while dining. The swimming pool at the hotel was so comfortable and tempting that I could hardly leave the hotel for one of the nice surrounding beaches. We were even allowed to BBQ the fresh fish we bought in the market, as they provided all the equipment! - The hotel is very quiet and pleasant, even at mid-August. Envolving green area is great. Excellent swimming pool. "Mare Pinnetta" beach is just at one minute drive. Nightlife and restaurants at Pula (just 3Km away).

  Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Communication with the manager, Matteo, was excellent and he was very friendly and helpful with everything - not to mention all the great insider tips he had for us! Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. The location is a little bit lonely but typical for a agriturismo and there are two awesome beaches nearby (only reached by car though). Thank you for the pleasant stay!

The best part was the lovely staff, the owner Monika kindly agreed to modify our booking when we realized how big the island was and also wanted to visit the east coast.
