We reserved our room in Cinque Terre to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Our host recommended a restaurant and made a reservation for us. La Casa was quite easy to find, the pathway being opposite the undercover public car park, and the mule track was really not that bad, so long as you pace yourself. I loved our stay at the hotel. Everything was outstanding. We got a wonderful room of 2.5 levels (bedroom, sublevel bathroom-shower, and a tiny walkout patio). The resort is also eco-conscious with reminders about the use of water and electricity. Location was great! Two steps from the beach and main street that took us to all the restaurants. foot in a few minutes. The Hotel is located not directly at the sea but
within 3-4min walking you get there! The breakfast was pretty nice and
the staff is very nice and helpful! We booked a room with no ensuite
bathroom which means that you share the bathroom with others. That is
basically ok, however, cleanliness is depending also on the other rooms!

Hotel Margherita is the 3rd hotel I have stayed in while visiting
Monterosso over the last 12 years or so. I would definitely recomment
all, but for different reasons. Hotel Margherita is the largest of the
3 and while I feel like I "sold out" in choosing this one,
the price is what helped me make my decision. I love the location. Hm
