Position was great, in middle of old town of Monterosso. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great recommendations for where to eat including 10% discount cards. Asked for a room with a view, knowing it meant climbing to 5th floor. View is available from breakfast venue every day, so I'd recommend getting room on lower floor as higher you are more noise from street at night. Air con worked well and was quiet. Room very comfortable and clean, breakfast had variety and personal order of omelette, eg. все обзоры »
Staff were efficient, cooperative, and very friendly. Location of hotel
in the center of Monterosso (which turned out to be the best of the
Cinque Terra towns, except for Vernazza, which we did not visit) was
perfect. Breakfasts were large and wonderful--eggs cooked to order,
fruit, yogurt, the works, including a second cappuccino upon request.
Great view of town and ocean from terrace top of hotel. Our room had
window and a terrace overlooking the city.
We liked the ambience of our room. It did not have a view, but the bathroom was grey marble with a lovely shower, and a king sized bed. We loved the made to order breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the Monterosso harbor, and the voices of the locals in the morning as they walked down the alley below our window. We loved Angela and Max, both wonderful and accommodating hosts throughout our three day stay.
This hotel was amazing! Completely surpassed expectation- friendly staff that spoke great English, clean huge rooms, 5 min walk to the beach, awesome breakfast (homemade omelets, cappuccinos, GF breads, and all the standards). Ask for the 5th floor room- lots of stairs but the view is worth it. Can't say enought good things about the hotel, location and staff!!.
The location was good but the tunnel to the newer part of town, and
especially the train station, was temporarily closed, making it an
arduous trip to get anywhere. Not the hotel's fault, just bad
timing. The breakfast was quite generous and the room was very nice,
although it required walking up to the 4th floor.
Breakfast on the lovely terass with gorgeous view over sea and roof tops! Eggs any way you liked, fruit salad, HOT cappuccino, dark bread... Mmm.
Very helpful and English-speaking staff!.
The location of this place was fantastic and it had a great rooftop patio for breakfast which also included fresh-made omelettes and espresso.
Max, the proprietor, was helpful and pleasant. The location for seeing all of the towns of the Cinque Terre was great.
Great service, brilliant breakfast and great location. Room was a good size too.
Great location and roof terrace. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
Breakfast at the balcony overlooking the sea.
Nice and friendly staff, very helpful.
Very clean hotel and good location.
Hotel was close to the beach. 10 minute easy walk from station and very close to a range of shops and restaurants.
Nothing - it was a great authentic family atmosphere place to stay.
A little pricey, but worth every euro.
Nothing.
Nothing. This place was awesome.
Strong musty smell from the bathroom.
That you only were logged on to wifi for short periods before you had to log in again.
I can see some people with a lot of luggage complaining about the stairs but we had only one bag so it was not a problem for us.
Parking was off site, and we had to walk a ways to reach the hotel, but it was manageable.
Nothing to report on except the directions and that is purely an English thing!.
No elevator. Difficult when carrying luggages.
Of course all the stairs were tiredsome after a day with walking.
No view or outlook except at breakfast. The hotel rooms didn't start until after two flights of stairs. Getting suitcases up was a challenge. No porter. Air conditioning not really effective.
