Hotel de Panette was a real find. In the old center of town, just two blocks from the cathedral. The 17th century building has lots of character and been restored by a charming family who are also the hosts. Our two rooms were gorgeous and spacious with extremely high ceilings, original wood floors, tall shuttered windows, chandeliers and antiques. It felt like we were staying in an old palace.The breakfast was spectacular. We felt completely pampered.

I traveled through the town of Bourges last year abnd was so facinated by the old city that I wanted to return. I saw the hotel online and it sounded interesting. I reeived an email from the owners questioning if I realy wantted an appartment as that is what i had booked. They have both appartments for longer staying guests, and standard rooms

Receptionist and owner were both extremely helpful in suggesting things to see. The location is wonderful and parking is really secure. You must book to guarantee one of the limited spaces but there is plenty of free parking nearby. we stayed inLles Tours which is up a flight and a half of stairs not a problem for 63 year olds but bear in mind. Good breakfast delivered to room which made a nice change. The renovation has been done very well, and its a real treasure store but still good value an

Easy street parking and a 10 mins walk into the centre of town. Hotel run by a young couple who both speak perfect English and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a little on the small side but spotlessly clean and had a super bathroom and good sized shower. Stayed for 2 nights Sunday and Monday and managed to find a few restaurants open on both nights. Many wooden clad medieval buildings are to be found throughout the town.

A little more expensive than the normal stop over venue for a night but delivered on a room for 2 adults and 2 children (which seems difficult at some rival hotels) had the space, comfort and extra of a heated swimming pool and late check out to allow this to be enjoyed. A touch of luxury in the economy market. Thanks -

It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world and the description of the hotel and facilities have been accurate. A very enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. - We only stayed one night however the hotel building, an old abbey isamazing and rooms and staff to a very high standard. Great Deal thanks!

The setting overlooking a lake, the beautiful old building, the grand breakfast room with a view of the lake. An experience of staying in a castle for a modest price. Also the friendly staff. - A nice clean tidy room with everything you need after a long journey.

This is a well priced hotel, one of the best I've stayed in at under £50. Easy to reach from the autoroute, couple of restaurants within 2 mins walk. Pleasant and efficient staff. ComfortabIe room with free wifi. I didn't have breakfast (need real coffee in the morning) but it all looked OK. -

This was a luxurious one night stay for us. The owners are lovely and are suceeding in their endeavours to stay ahead of the competition. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the centre where restuarants abound .
