  Jean-Pierre was so welcoming and friendly. He could not have been more helpful and we really enjoyed the organic breakfast which is included in the price.   We travelled in France for two weeks, this was the most memorable and special place to stay!! Maison du Théâtre Saint Bonnet is a charming family house with a lot of character. It is perfectly positioned a 5 minute walk from the cathedral. The Bourges Marais, the famous marshlands park is also just a couple of streets away. Our room and bathroom was very large and comfortable. We were given a private piano recital in the beautiful theatre. The pool and breakfast were superb. We were escorted to a fantastic restaurant by the owner and introduced, where we had a the best meal of our two week holiday at a very reasonable cost. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners at the hotel and we loved the opulent décor and designer clutter! Bourges old city

  I traveled through the town of Bourges last year abnd was so facinated by the old city that I wanted to return. I saw the hotel online and it sounded interesting. I reeived an email from the owners questioning if I realy wantted an appartment as that is what i had booked. They have both appartments for longer staying guests, and standard rooms ... что говорят » for those staying one or two nights. I was moved into the hotel whih was appointed quite well with period furnishings and a very comfortable bed. I - Receptionist and owner were both extremely helpful in suggesting things to see. The location is wonderful and parking is really secure. You must book to guarantee one of the limited spaces but there is plenty of free parking nearby. we stayed inLles Tours which is up a flight and a half of stairs not a problem for 63 year olds but bear in mind. Good breakfast delivered to room which made a nice change. The renovation has been done very well, and its a real treasure store but still good value an

  A great overnight stop.The couple who run this hotel were extremely helpful and spoke very good English. The hotel was spotlessly clean and looked as if it had been recently refurbished. Our room was a good size. The hotel is well located, 10 minutes walk to the town, and has free on-street parking outside. Hotel run by a young couple who both speak perfect English and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a little on the small side but spotlessly clean and had a super bathroom and good sized shower. Stayed for 2 nights Sunday and Monday and managed to find a few restaurants open on both nights. Many wooden clad medieval buildings are to be found throughout the town.

  A little more expensive than the normal stop over venue for a night but delivered on a room for 2 adults and 2 children (which seems difficult at some rival hotels) had the space, comfort and extra of a heated swimming pool and late check out to allow this to be enjoyed. Clean and quiet rooms were also comfortable. The pool was super and we enjoyed both restaurants outside the gates and breakfast was good. Convenient parking on site.

  It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world and the description of the hotel and facilities have been accurate. A very enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. - We only stayed one night however the hotel building, an old abbey isamazing and rooms and staff to a very high standard. Great Deal thanks!

  Friendly staff. Gave me biker mate a free coffee on Sun morning! Got thebooking at short notice so very glad of any bed at that stage :] - professional staff and clean room. Good breakfast in restaurant, but fairly poor if ordered to room.

The beautiful bedroom was air-conditioned - lovely after the scorching temperatures outside! The room was really quiet overnight and the big double bed so comfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous - the best croissants of our holiday. - Breakfast is good value but need to replace items quickly when they run out. Bathrooms are excellent. Air conditioning very effective and quiet. Don't be put off by the fact the hotel can look "closed" when you turn up.
