I loved being able to bring our dogs. I loved being able to walk straight from the car to the room. I loved the easy access to expressway and quaint Vermont town. I liked the friendly staff, natural setting, down-to-earth feel, and the price was a huge draw. Perfect for our road trip to catch a day of exquisite skiing before the season's end. -

The Motel’s restaurant Nippers Café served great food. We enjoyed our stay at the Stamford Motel and viewing the beautiful Vermont fall foliage.

The 19th century charm of this inn is incredible. It's a gorgeous old estate home with unbelievable gardens and view of the Vermont mountains. The owners are lovely people that give you the feeling you're spending the weekend in their country home. It's stately, but unpretentious. -

Great location, close to restaurants, shopping, and Bromley and Stratton mountains. Quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Convenient parking near rooms. Staff is friendly and very accommodative to guest needs. -
Clean bathrooms loved the sink was not so low. Many safety features.

While at first glance this place looked dated; it was completely upto date with internet access, flat screen tv's, frig, microwave, coffee in the room & above all this was one of the cleanest most well maintained places we have stayed. I couldn't recommend it more highly. PS-the price was also reasonable! -

He spent the entire trip going to the river at the back of the hotel to the pool.
It was delightful.
The grounds are lovely.
The place, although old, is exceptionally clean and cared for.
It's close to town and if you don't want to go to town there are several restaurants within walking distance.
I loved our stay and would go back in a second.
