Easy going atmosphere, good value, close to town centre and
public transport. the hotel was very nice and the staff were extreamly friendly.The hotel is very central to the beach and town centre and has free parking on site. The food was very nice, but it was not made clear if evening meals were available to us until we asked. The management team were great. They made our time at the hotel enjoyable even though we were put in a room that is hardly used. In fact we had a great laugh 2 of the 3 nights we stayed in at the hotel, due to the weather being unfit to go out into town at night.todos opiniões »
The staff were tremendous. Nothing was too much of a bother.The hotel was good value for the price paid. The breakfast was very good. Friendliness of the staff and a great breakfast.I took my dog and was allocated a down stairs room for ease of taking him out as and when necessary.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly so much so that I felt completely at home in their company. Very freindly staff/owners. peace and quiet. The rooms were very run down.No hot water on the last day, we were told that the water would be turned off at 8am but it was off much earlier, not being able to have a shower was just not exceptable. Thie sink in the room was so small you just couldn't get to have a proper wash when the water was off. Only the bathroom to room 6. If this was updated and carpet replaced with lino for example, then we would definitely stay in this room again. hard mattress. hot water not available on final morning. Staff were uninterested. the hotel needs alot of decoration, We were surprised that it has passed the health and safety act, we saw bare wires, electric sockets hanging from walls, overall the hotel is in great need of TLC. The hotel seemed run down. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The Trethorne Hotel provides accommodation for 50 guests, and is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and good food. We extend an inviting welcome, so that you can enjoy yourselves in an informal and carefree atmosphere.
We set the seal on your holiday by serving delicious home-cooked food of a high quality and in plenty. Our menus are varied and there is always a choice. Special diets are catered for on request. The hotel's bar licence permits guests to invite their friends to enjoy an evening with them, especially on entertainment nights.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the town centre and beaches, a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute drive from Newquay airport.
Important information to guests
For large groups and single sex parties a 30.00 GBP cash bond is payable on arrival and is refunded upon departure as long as no damage, noise or nuisance has been caused during your stay.
Please note that we do not accept American Express.
In line with the Health Act of 2006, the Trethorne Hotel is fully non-smoking.
