We stayed for 3 nights in November and found this to be a lovely hotel - very comfortable, lovely and warm (easily adjusted and efficient heating), spotlessly clean, beautiful view (we had a front room), excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Plenty of attention to detail. The breakfasts were a treat and Mark who served them is a gem. You can walk over the hill to Ambleside, or onto the local fells without going on the road, so excellent for walkers. We would definitely use this hotel aga
