Chose this hotel because of proximity to new Arena - it's just a few minutes walk away.
It's more a city pub with rooms.
Handy for shopping, theatres and eating out.
Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was small so we were checked in quickly and helped with the FREE car parking! The room was around the same standard as a premier inn with heated bathroom floors and a very comfy bed. A family hotel whose staff were amazingly helpful and attentive - even swapping us to a ground-floor room (due to a broken ankle) without needing to be asked and despite its being a family room rather than the twin we had booked! Delicious breakfast, with generous variety (both continental and cooked). Superb location for the universities - just across the road. Right on bus route for shopping or bus/coach/train stations. Yet a feeling of being in the country - "at home" in the country. Thank

This was a really great place to stay during some unusually cold and snowy weather in Leeds. Clean, comfortable and warm, the hotel provided an excellent breakfast and has a cozy lounge to sip a drink in. - We Were made very welcome, it was nice and clean and the room had easy chairs to sit is which is not always available

Friendly, helpful and informative staff.
Kitchenette supplies - nice to have a mug! - though would have liked to have been able to make myself an early morning cup of tea to have in bed without having to get dressed and walk a bit of a distance down the corridor!

Excellent location, fantastic service, full English breakfast was awesome, rooms were clean and tidy and well laid out, staff were wonderful and so friendly. And no expensive at all - if we are ever back in Headingley, Leeds, this is definately where we will stay again! Thank you for a brilliant experience! - lady on reception was really friendly
