We had the priviledge of having the free range eggs from his hens every morning. He has made our weekend break a super one. He certainly deserves an award delicated to - A family run hotel in an Edwardian house retaining its period charm, situated on the hill above Minehead. We had a double aspect room with far reaching views over the sea and wooded hills. A peaceful location and a good base to explore the area including the West Somerset Railway and Exmoor National Park. Good cooked breakfast.   Excellent staff and a very clean hotel , the current owners have not been in this hotel for very long but are making it a very nice place to stay , they do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant one and nothing seams too much trouble , we did not use the restaurant as the bar meals were good value and the relaxed atmosphere of the bar ar... o que as pessoas dizem » ea was to our personal liking but if we stay again we would try the restaurant , once the new owners have put there mark on the rest of the hotel it w - Hotel room and hotel in general very clean. Breakfast was good but a bit overpriced at £12. Car parking on site adequate. Room was cold on arrival and told heating was off, but electric heater delivered to room promptly and problem solved.
