  Clean and tidy and they had anticipated our needs by providing extra items such as tissues, cotton wool, shower gel, milk tea and coffee, and hair dryer.   I really enjoyed my stay at his place, and the location was an added bonus. I really look forward to booking with them in future and hopefully there will be availablilities the next time I want to book in.

  The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. The unit we stayed in was extremely well presented with some really nice personal touches added. The kids absolutely loved our stay here and we were sad to leave. 3 single beds for the kids was a real bonus. Was also right across the road from Countdown (grocery shop) which was a big bonus. - Waiora Apartments was set in a lovely peaceful bush setting, lovely timber with lovely bed upstairs, clean and tidy. Downstairs was okay but only for sleeping really not a space you would want to have to stay in for a long time. I loved the calm and peaceful feeling of this place.

  Comfortable room with plenty of facilities/space. Staff were friendly, helpful and gave us lots of information. Aloha is in a good situation for the bay of islands, Russell, Waitangi etc. You can get a tour to 90 mile beach from Paihia, although we drove and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Good restaurants in town - about a ten minute walk. Wine & chocolates were left for the room by my parents which the staff put into our room before our arrival, big thanks for doing that. Great facilities and a relaxing stay

  We liked everything about Bay Sands - the Manager was the most helpful, informative,friendly person we came across in our whole NZ holiday... Nothing too much trouble and we ate at some amazing places thanks to his suggestions......And if this wasn't enough he even offered to allow us to leave our car at the motel whilst we went on an overnight cr... o que as pessoas dizem » uise as it was far safer at the Motel than anywhere else. Our room had a beach view, was spotlessly clean and well fitted out with kitchenette etc - v - Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable and facilities were very good. We had a ground floor sea view, which wasn't strictly a sea view as most of the time, cars were parked directly across from the room as there was parking for the beach. The beach was literally across the street, though so it was still a good spot. Restaurants, the wharf and the centre is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation, so pretty good location.

  We loved the location as was quiet even tho just off a main road and could hear the falls. Loved the deck area, BBQ option and the fact that all rooms faced the river and falls. Kitchen was very handy. Place was older but very clean and comfortable. Owner/staff (especially Thomas!) were so friendly, helpful and laid back. We would highly recommend it especially for families. - The staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We originally booked a studio apartment but found it to be too small for a party of 3 adults so we moved to a 2 bedroom apartment and while it was the only one without a view we were very happy with it as it was very spacious and we were going to be out most of the day anyway. The location is excellent (only a short drive into Paihia) and the area around the motel is beautiful and well kept.
