I called earlier to make sure they excepted cash as payment..tge lady questioned whether it was three people coming as I had booked a one bedroom suite, I told her it was just me and my ptr, she then said she will upgrade us to a spa suite as it would be more suitable for a couple. Room was amazing...very cozy and romantic...room had sky tv ..own private patio...the stay w - The Tussock Peak Motor Lodge is a great place to stay in Hanmer - extremely clean and tidy - the largest two bedroomed apartment we have used during our tour of nz and by no means the most expensive - great value for money. - far enough away from the restaurants to be quiet at night but close enough for a gentle stroll to the centre of the town. Just across the road from the hot pool complex - hire towels from the Tussock Peak - cheaper than hiring from the Hot Pool complex

  Select Braemar Lodge is number one on my list of accommodation we have stayed in New Zealand. We have travelled to many parts of the world and Braemar is second on this list. I could not fault Braemar, it is sure luxury and the staff made you feel like royalty. The spa outside was lovely. the gas fire was so romantic. The bathroom was great, very roomy. The chef was wonderful and went the extra mile for us. Tony was also accommodating. We loved the setting of the Lodge.

  I liked Lindsays wife !! (but ............ I also liked Lindsay ) thanks for your warm welcome guys. The Albergo has a vey pleasant feel to it . Not too formal , relaxed and quiet - Owners were very welcomimg and attentive.They are friendly and approachable,and the gourmet breakfast was exceptional

  Everything. Graham and Karima were excellent hosts and I would recommend Scarborough lodge to anyone. It was homely, well apportioned, decor and facilities couldn't be bettered. The whole ambience of both the Lodge and the owners again could not be bettered. - Facilities were very good and had everything we needed. The sheets were divine, the outlook beautiful and peaceful, toiletries were luxurious and the suite contained every facility you would need.
